ABOUT US

With a passion for helping senior leaders translate, clarify and contextualize the complexities associated with constant change, Silse is an organizational development consultant with expertise in Change Leadership, Leadership Communication and Cultural Intelligence. 

 

An entrepreneur who founded Brazil-based Martell Consulting and SMARTPR, she is a contributor for key projects at B/Adaptable.

Silse holds a Bachelors in Journalism from Arizona State University and a Masters in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. Her certifications include: Executive Coaching Certification by Columbia University, Barrett Culture Transformation, Neethling Brain Instrument, Intercultural Development Inventory, Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory.

 

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, she was Director of Corporate Communications for Ericsson Latin America, based in Miami. She also served as PR manager for United Family Communications and worked for Fleishman-Hillard.

SILSE MARTELL

A powerful voice for women, Carmen is founder of B/adaptable, dedicating her passion for people and culture to assisting leaders and organizations in the US and in Latin America.  She is an organizational development consultant with expertise in Change Leadership, Leadership Communication and Culture Intelligence.

 

An inspiring speaker and a coach for senior executives, Carmen has worked with leaders from both private and public sectors, where she served as an advisor to senior members of U.S. Presidential Administrations as well as federal government officials on matters of health, economic literacy and empowerment policy. 

 

As an entrepreneur, she founded Washington-based QMRI, a Management & Marketing consultancy responsible for rolling out a number of national health campaigns for the US government and the private sector focusing on minority communities. She is also a contributing senior consultant to the Avivar Group.

 

In education, she worked through Georgetown’s University Center for Intercultural Education and Development’s Applied Business Solutions program to develop training for senior executives in four countries to improve their ability to compete in a global marketplace.

 

A National Hispana Leadership Institute Fellow, Carmen earned a master-level certificate in total quality management from the University of Miami, a bachelor’s degree in management from Barry University, and a master’s degree in organizational psychology and change leadership from Columbia University. She is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School’s Executive Leadership Development Program and the Dartmouth Amos Tuck School of Business Minority Development and Minority Advanced Executive Program.
